Our new paper reveals that transplanting V2a spinal interneurons into the injured cervical spinal cord improves breathing. Congratulations to Lana Zholudeva on this really nice paper! Its a really interesting study, but its the tip of the iceberg. We are still learning how to best harness these cells for therapies.
